PORTRAIT OF AMERICA

Design, layout, and illustration for Portrait of America, a coffee table book. The book chronicles the cross-country journey of a Westfalia Camper Van that was converted into a photo booth to take portraits of people in every corner of the United States. The project was initiated by Magnolia Photo Booth Co. employee Willy Owens as a Kickstarter project, with the book being one of the rewards for donating. I collaborated closely with Willy to organize his writings, travel photos, and the portraits taken by the van into a cohesive narrative of the trip.
